Escape RP Enhanced Guide

The next-generation Escape city.

info

Enhanced needs the FiveM Enhanced client and GTA V Enhanced. The older FiveM (sometimes called FiveM Legacy) and GTA V Legacy will not connect. Join with the Escape RP Enhanced join link.

What Enhanced is

Escape RP Enhanced is Escape RP's next-generation city. It is a separate server from Legacy Escape RP, built from the ground up on the FiveM Enhanced platform. Nothing carries over from Legacy: not your character, your money, your vehicles or your items.

On the server itself you get a new inventory, Third Eye interaction on almost everything, and almost every key registered as a proper FiveM keybind, so you can rebind any of them from ESC → Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM.

What the Enhanced platform means for you

Enhanced runs on FiveM Enhanced, which is a different client from the FiveM most people have installed, and it needs GTA V Enhanced rather than GTA V Legacy. Installing the Enhanced versions of both is the one thing you have to sort out before you can connect at all. Not sure which you have, or what the difference is? See Legacy vs Enhanced.

Two differences you will actually notice:

  • No graphics mods. FiveM Enhanced runs with pure mode permanently on, and it cannot be switched off. Shader and visual packs like NVE, ENB and ReShade do not work here, however they behave on Legacy. This is a platform limit, not a server rule, so there is nothing to appeal.
  • Better sync. Enhanced dropped the old peer-to-peer model for a client-server one, which cuts latency. Players nearby should desync less than you are used to.

FiveM Enhanced is still in early access, so expect rough edges that are the platform's rather than ours.
