Q. What is Escape RP Enhanced, and how is it different from Escape RP?

A. Enhanced is Escape's next-generation city, a separate server rather than an update to the Legacy one. It is built from the ground up on the FiveM Enhanced platform. What you will notice as a player: a new inventory, Third Eye interaction on almost everything, and keys you can rebind yourself.

Q. When does it open, and how do I join?

A. Open the Escape RP Enhanced join link, which opens the server in FiveM. Enhanced needs the FiveM Enhanced client and GTA V Enhanced. The older FiveM (sometimes called FiveM Legacy) and GTA V Legacy will not connect, so make sure you have the Enhanced versions of both installed before you try.

Q. Do my Legacy character, money, cars or items carry over?

A. No. Enhanced is a completely separate server from Legacy Escape RP. Nothing carries over: not your character, your money, your vehicles or your items. You start fresh.

Q. Do I need anything special to play?

A. Enhanced needs the FiveM Enhanced client and GTA V Enhanced. The older FiveM (sometimes called FiveM Legacy) and GTA V Legacy will not connect, so make sure you have the Enhanced versions of both installed before you try. Q. How do I interact with things?

A. Hold Left ALT to use the Third Eye and look at whatever you want to interact with. Objects, vehicles, NPCs and other players all have their own options. TAB opens your inventory, K opens the nearest trunk, glovebox or dumpster, and Z opens the radial menu. See Keys and Commands for the rest.

Q. How do I start a car?

A. Press G to toggle the engine, as long as you have keys to it. L locks and unlocks it. If you do not have keys, H attempts a hotwire, which is theft and is the only way in.

Q. Something is broken. What do I do?

A. Both. Use /report in game, or open a ticket in the Escape RP Enhanced Discord. Enhanced runs its own Discord, separate from the Legacy one, so report Enhanced issues there rather than in the Escape RP server. Enhanced is in active development, so expect to find broken things.
