💼 Jobs & Activities
Nobody hands you a job when you arrive. Work is how most people pay for the car, the apartment and everything after that, and there are four different routes into it.
💰 How pay works
Framework jobs pay a paycheck into your bank every 15 minutes, and only while you are clocked on duty. The amount depends on the job and your grade in it. With no job you count as a Civilian on $100 a paycheck, which is not a living.
Activity work ignores all of that. It pays per task or per run, on the spot, and does not care what job you hold.
Press J to open the job menu. You can hold two jobs at once and switch between them there.
👮 Whitelist jobs
Police, medical, legal and real estate roles. You apply out of city on the Applications page and get your answer in Discord. The forms do not map one to one onto the jobs, so check you are filling in the right one.
🏪 Business jobs
Restaurants, bars, garages, the dispensaries and the vineyard, all player-run. There is no form for these. Turn up at the venue and talk to whoever is running it.
🏛️ Jobs you can walk into
Taxi and towing are shift work. You clock on at the depot, do runs, clock off, and your old job comes back when you finish. No application, no interview.
🎣 Activity work
Construction, mining, lumber, oil, postal, garbage, recycling, electrical, trucking. No job title required, no boss, no shift. Turn up and work. The City Hall ped will put any of them on your GPS if you cannot find one.
⚠️ Illegal work
It exists and it pays better. We are not going to list it here, because finding it is part of it.
Everything illegal is still bound by the Server Rules. Roleplay first, mechanics second.
