đŸŽ¯ Custom Crosshair

The arena can draw its own crosshair in place of the game's. You build it on the Settings page of the F1 menu, under Custom Crosshair, and there is a live Preview next to the controls so you are not guessing.

Your crosshair is saved on your own machine, so it is still there next time you play.

Building one

Start with Crosshair Style:

StyleWhat you get
CrossFour arms around a gap in the middle
DotA single dot on the aim point
CircleA ring, optionally with a dot in the middle
ChevronAngled arms rather than straight ones

Then shape it:

SettingWhat it changes
Crosshair ColorThe color of the arms
AlphaHow see-through it is
Arm LengthHow far each arm reaches
Arm ThicknessHow heavy each arm is
Arm SpacingThe gap between the aim point and where the ink starts
OutlineA border around the whole thing, with its own Outline Thickness and Outline Color. Worth having: it is what keeps the crosshair readable against a bright wall
Center DotCircle style only, plus Center Dot Size
Arm AngleChevron style only, how far the arms are swept

Using your own overlay

If you already have a crosshair overlay you like, Disable Crosshair on the same Settings page switches off both the arena's crosshair and the game's own, so nothing is drawn underneath yours. Overlays are fine here. They are not treated as cheating.

Sharing a crosshair

Share Code at the bottom of the section does the same job as it does in CS: Export turns your current crosshair into a short code you can paste to somebody, and Import takes one of theirs and applies it.

A code looks like XH2- followed by around twenty characters.

It carries the appearance only. Whether you have the custom crosshair switched on is yours and does not travel with the code, so importing somebody's crosshair never changes your own settings beyond how it looks.

If a code is mistyped or you only got half of it on the clipboard, it is rejected outright and tells you so. It will not quietly load something almost right.
