📖 Arena Rules

The arena keeps its rules short on purpose. It comes down to two things: play fair, and do not exploit.

Fair play​

  • One account. Smurfing and alt accounts are not allowed.
  • No teaming outside your team. In team modes your team is the one the game put you on. In Free-for-All there are no teams at all, so working with another player against the rest of the lobby is against the rules.
  • No throwing, boosting or rating manipulation. Losing on purpose, feeding kills, or arranging a result with someone else. In practice this only bites in ranked, since unranked has no rating to move.
  • No stream sniping or queue sniping. Watching an opponent's stream to track them mid-match, or timing your queue to land in a specific player's game.

Exploits and cheating​

  • No cheats. Any external software that plays the game for you or shows you something you should not be able to see is a permanent ban. Aimbots, triggerbots, wallhacks and mod menus all count. The arena runs its own server-side anticheat.
  • Crosshair overlays are fine. They are normal in shooters and the arena has a crosshair builder of its own, plus a setting to get out of its way if you would rather use yours.
  • No exploits. Map geometry that puts you out of bounds or onto something you were not meant to reach, and anything else working in a way it clearly was not built to. Finding one and using it quietly is treated the same as cheating. Report it instead.

Community conduct​

These apply across the Escape RP community, in Discord and on every server including this one.

  • No discrimination. Racism, slurs, sexual harassment or discrimination of any kind is a permanent ban. That covers voice, text chat and Discord.
  • No bullying, harassment or targeting. Personal insults and repeatedly singling out one player both count.
  • Keep it in the match. Beating someone is the point. Taking it to their DMs afterwards is not.
  • 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old to play.
  • You are responsible for your own account. A ban lands on the account regardless of who was at the keyboard.
  • No ban evasion. Using another account to get around a ban makes it permanent. Appeal through a ticket instead.
  • No impersonating staff, in game or in Discord.
  • No advertising or self-promotion without permission.
  • No sexually explicit, violent or shocking content anywhere in the community.

Reporting​

Open a ticket in the Escape Arena Discord. There is no in-game report command on the arena.
